Welcome to St Crispin's School. We provide a positive, supported learning environment for pupils aged years with additional support needs. Crispin School was formed in by the merge of Elmhurst Grammar School and Strode Secondary Modern School. Inthe school was awarded specialist technology status, with a second specialism in music awarded in Crispin School was converted to an academy inunder the provisions of the Academies Act Coordinates: 51°07′49″N 2°43′57″W.

The School. St Crispin’s is more than just a school; generations of families have been, and continue to be part of St Crispin’s school. Crispin’s School is situated in the conservation area of the Stoneygate district of Leicester, in two large Victorian houses overlooking Victoria Park, opposite the world renowned University of Leicester.

Key Stage 3 Curriculum A broad and balanced curriculum is offered to all of our students: underpinned by the academic core of subjects (English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Languages), learning is enhanced by the study of the Arts, computing, technology and physical education, offering our students a course of study in which academic rigour.

In key Stage 3 we endeavour to produce work with three focussed projects each year. These projects use painting, ceramics and printmaking as key elements. The students will be using drawing as a foundation to all the art and design aspects of their work, and will be using a range of drawing materials and techniques.

Key Stage 3 Students in Years 8, 9 and 10 experience a broad common curriculum in a supportive learning environment which allows them to develop as independent learners and to work with others. The range of subjects offered in Year 10 is extended to include Business Studies and Leisure and Tourism.
